discuss the work.

West Lancashire Youth Event:
WHO: Young people, agencies, organisations and individuals that work with young people
WHAT: An event that brings together agencies, organisations and individuals that work with young people, some specifically arts based.
WHEN: 3.30pm - 6.30pm, Wednesday 30 June 2010
There will be visual arts groups such as Hillside Community Arts Association, Performing Arts groups such as Ormskirk’s very own Stagecoach, music tuition organisations such as CD Music and Village music school along with the Youth Service and West Lancashire Young Carers, all on hand to answer questions and discuss what they have on offer for young people.
This will also be an occasion for celebration. Some of the Chapel Gallery’s very own Saturday Art Clubbers have achieved the Bronze level of the nationally accredited Arts Award, which is backed by the Arts Council and Trinity College London. We would like to say a big well done to the young people who have achieved this award.
The Chapel Gallery is a centre for the delivery of the Arts Awards and have an on going cycle in place for those young people in the Art Club to be registered for the arts Awards. Any young person between the ages of 8 – 16years old with an interested in art can find out more details about the Chapel Gallery Art Club by contacting:

Summer Arts FestivalWHO: All.
WHAT: Sunshine soaked summer fun with visual and performance arts events and activities in West Lancashire.
WHEN: Dates throughout June, July, August and September.
WHERE: Venues throughout West Lancashire.

My House, My Home, Youth Open 2010A wonderful way to
acknowledge the creative
talent of young artists in
the region, this annual
showcase includes original
artworks from individuals,
school classes and families
too.
Young artists are
encouraged to submit
work on the theme of ‘My
House, My Home,’ created
in any 2D media or relief.
The evening preview for
the event ensures that all
who attend, from the young
people themselves to their
proud friends and family,
have a great time and feel
very special indeed!

Friday 26 November '10
Craft Stands open from 12noon-8pm.
Evening Event from 6pm-8pm.
Over 35 artists & makers!
A great opportunity to pick up Christmas gifts at direct from the artist prices.
•A superb collection of jewellery, textiles, prints, glassware and ceramics plus a variety of fine artworks.
•Visit the Gallery Shop to see the wide range of Christmas cards and decorations.
